Processor

The processor is the main electronic component in electronic devices that performs basic arithmetic, logical, control, and input/output operations specified by instructions.

Principle and Uses of the Processor

The principle of modern processors is based on processing binary operations. The binary (base-2) system consists of 0s and 1s, which, due to their simplicity, can be easily represented in the processor using voltage levels.

The processor is one of the main computing units in computers, mobile phones, televisions, various home and other electronic appliances, and cars. It is abbreviated as CPU, which stands for Central Processing Unit. Through the processor, a device can perform the tasks it is designed for.
