Our story
The company Martin Štefanek – Hurricane was founded in 1998. We started out organising smaller events, but gradually grew – taking on larger indoor and outdoor events, refining our technical skills and expanding our team with specialist professionals. After nine years, the original business naturally evolved into Hurricane, s.r.o.
As we were no longer focusing solely on sound and lighting technology, but increasingly on comprehensive solutions, in 2019 we decided to change our previous name, Hurricane – sound & light, to a new brand HURRICANE – EVENT PRODUCTION & DESIGN. The new name best reflects who we are and where we are heading.
Decades of hard work as a team have taken us from being a supplier of audiovisual equipment to becoming a company that provides comprehensive technical and creative production and event design – from conferences, television broadcasts and exhibitions, right through to concerts and major events.
More than a quarter of a century’s experience has taught us to view events in their broader context. That is why, today, we do not merely provide individual services or technologies, but comprehensive solutions, in which every detail contributes to the overall result. Together with the younger generation of the family, we are also preparing Hurricane for the challenges and needs of the future.
