Headset
A headset refers to a device that combines headphones and a microphone. Headsets are an indispensable tool at any event, both live and online. They are used by crew members in the control room, cameramen, lighting technicians, and even the host. By pairing headsets within a single system, we can communicate efficiently and address any operational issues directly from our workstations.
While headsets for workers can be large or even wired, during live broadcasting or music performances, you may encounter invisible and wireless "headsets". These could be small, discreet earpieces with an integrated microphone. Such headsets are sometimes connected to a small box (containing the necessary electronics, battery, and wireless technology) that can easily fit in a pocket or be worn on a belt. In some cases, these earpieces are even adhered directly to the skin, particularly for women.
