Profile spotlight
In photography and cinematography, a spotlight is used with a special reflective surface to direct light onto a selected subject, person, or a scene. The term originates from the Latin word "reflecto," which means "I bend back, I reflect." Spotlights are often used in studio lighting.
Options for Profile Spotlights
Profile spotlights allow for shaping the beam of light—gobo projection, which means projecting images. The power of the device is not significant for this type of spotlight. This is a functionally misleading factor, as higher energy consumption does not equate to a higher luminous flux.
Much more important is the efficiency of the spotlights. A crucial parameter when selecting the right spotlight is the luminous flux.
