The client approached us with the aim of taking the conference’s visual identity to the next level and defining the main stage more distinctly. The challenge was to build on the visual style from the previous year, develop it into a bolder design, whilst maintaining the continuity that the audience associates with the event.
We designed a creative stage concept dominated by a large-format curved Gloshine P2.6 LED screen. It became the visual centrepiece of the event, featuring a live backdrop tailor-made for presentations, videos and graphics. These held the audience’s attention throughout the day. We complemented the centre with a striking LED semi-arch made from flexible Unilumin Flex P1.9 panels, which gave the stage depth and movement. The result was a modern visual display that looked dynamic from every angle. We divided the stage into two distinct zones – one for presentations and one for discussions. Everything ran smoothly, without any unnecessary downtime. The concept was inspired by the style of television studios. We complemented this with speakers entering from behind the LED screen, which lent the entire production a natural elegance and pace. Given the conference’s focus on energy and sustainability, we also adapted the technical solutions with efficiency in mind. The lighting was based exclusively on Robe LED technology, which ensured high-quality stage lighting and a pleasant atmosphere in the hall, whilst minimising energy consumption. Sound was handled by a Meyer Sound system, which ensured even coverage throughout the hall and excellent speech intelligibility. The result was a stage that did not demand attention by force, but drew it in naturally. Powerful, clear and memorable. Exactly the sort of stage needed to take the next edition of the conference to the next level.
The result was a stage that worked exactly as it should have. Naturally, seamlessly and with confidence. The visuals complemented the content, and the technology ensured the event ran smoothly from start to finish. The entire venue came across as a well-thought-out and functional whole. The audience had a clear view of what was happening on stage, whilst the performers had a stable and functional backstage area at their disposal.

– a strong and modern visual identity for the stage,
– a professional setting for speakers and discussions,
– good legibility of the content and spatial orientation for the audience,
– a stable team with many years’ experience, which gives the client a sense of reassurance,
– a technical design that complements the content rather than overshadowing it.
Our collaboration with Hurricane began around five years ago, when we decided to scale up our conference. Initially, we took a standard approach to selecting a supplier; we approached several companies, with price being the main criterion. During the initial meetings, the Hurricane team presented options for taking the event to a significantly higher level in terms of visuals and the overall experience. At that stage, however, we were still favouring a more cost-effective solution. The turning point came after a first-hand experience of a similar event abroad, where we had the opportunity to see first-hand the impact of high-quality technical and visual production. We then began discussing the scope of our collaboration once again and looking for a way to strike a balance between the budget and the end result. Thanks to open communication and willingness on both sides, we managed to put in place a solution that significantly raised the standard of the conference. Since then, our collaboration has continued, with each year bringing new elements and improvements. From our perspective, the technical and visual aspects play a key role – high-quality sound, good visibility and well-thought-out visuals have a fundamental impact on the overall experience of the participants. Just like the professional programme, these aspects determine how participants perceive the event.
The best way to assess the outcome is to experience the event first-hand; in this case, first-hand experience is irreplaceable. Our collaboration with our partner Hurricane and our trust in their proposals have been unequivocally vindicated in our case. On behalf of the whole team, we would like to thank you for your cooperation and we look forward to the next SAPI ENERGY CONFERENCE in 2027.
