Forbes - Top Covers

The Forbes TOP Covers 2024 gala evening was held in the Winter Riding Hall of Bratislava Castle and was marked by help and togetherness. Guests gathered to enjoy an exceptional program and the announcement of the Personality of the Year 2024 award, which was presented to Mária Jasenková - the founder and director of the Plamienok Children's Hospice.

The technical brief for us was a clean and volumetrically large scene. Our Hurricane team designed and provided a solution that combined the aesthetic and functional requirements of the event. The stage was dominated by our 12 x 4 metre LED screen, which was curved along its entire length. This design gave the space an elegant look, which also emphasised the visual importance of the evening. To visually expand the scene, we incorporated side lighting into the lighting design to match the lights installed in the ride. Using reliable D8+ motors, we installed two video projectors on the ceiling using the masking function. This allows us to define the exact projection area, so we only projected the Forbes logo onto the side blinds. This way we didn't encroach on the walls with hanging equipment, which would otherwise have been undesirable. This detail contributed to the exclusivity of the evening and its unified branding. The sound side of the event was provided by Meyer Sound, which is renowned for its ability to be discreetly positioned at optimal angles. Thanks to this system, we evenly covered the hall without affecting the visual aesthetics of the venue.

Singer Jana Kirschner, violinist Mathia, dance group CreDance and others took care of an unforgettable artistic experience. The evening also included an auction of artworks and unique experiences, which was co-moderated by Adela Banášová. The money from the auction was redistributed to 4 Slovak non-profit organizations. We gladly accepted the challenge to be the technical partner of the gala and are delighted with the success of this annual prestigious event.
