The making of a dobule-concert
The celebration of the 70th anniversary of the Children´s and Girls´Choir of the Slovak Radio (SR) peaked by pruducing a double concert in the building of our most famous inverted pyramid. The concert hall of Slovak Radio came to life with festive melodies in hands of Ľubica Čekovská. Under the director of conductor Adrian Kokoš, accompanied by the Sro Symphony Orchestra, exceptional guests such as Adriana Kučerová and a 16-year-old flautist Ajna Marosz enjoyed their performances. The whole technical support of creating this gala-double concert was provided by our team Hurricane.
In regards to light, we have installed apart from others, moving heads Robe Esprite, that are ideal for TV projects as well as concerts. With stage, we have created the scene with the use of 3 LED screens, from which 2 were placed in the portrait format and one was placed horizontally. We connected two of them along their entire length with a strip of LED screen, which copied the angle of the stairs along their entire length. Hence we were able to create an interesting effect element, that was placed in the area were artists themselves enjoyed their performances. Apart from the visual side, we provided the sound for the hall, through the speakers Meyer Sound Leopard and 900-LFC. The double concert was shot in one day and the audience could watch its recording on RTVS TV.
