Crystal Wing Award ´23

The Crystal Wing is a stable, well-known TV occasion, thanks to which, hard work together with passion and art is awarded. It stands as a prominent gala-night interwinded with an award ceremony for remarkable achievements of people, who represent our country, enrich or help others in Slovakia. This gala-night in Slovak National theatre could be enjoyed not only by presents guests, but also watched in the comfort of your home on screens of RTVS, through a live broadcast. It was an evening filled with emotional moments, and we are very touched, as team Hurricane, to remain a part of it.

We supported the sound of the hall by a high-quality sound system Meyer Sound Leopard. The scene was enriched by a large number of lights. The light park consisted of more than 90 moving heads Robe and in total, we installed 182 lights in total. The scene was made up of interestingly placed LED screens, each of which was highlighted by edges, and thus took on the impression of 3D shapes. In between the LED panels on the sides, we have installed lights, that in combination with LED screen had a contrasting effect. In regards to the content that was on the LED screens, it all came to life thanks to our production team, and their ideas. During the music performances, the scene took on a whole new dynamics thanks to the so called „fly system“, were other effect lights were rigged on, moving up and down. As last years, this year was also very rich in performances of various artist. The whole evening was opened by SND ballet dancers together with a performance of Carmin Buran. All guests could enjoy musicians as Czech pop band Mirai as well as slovak singers Adam „Adonxs“ Pavlovčin and Barbora Hazuchová. The highlight of the evening was a performance of our famous and beloved Marika Gombitová, who also became the laureate of the Special Crystal Wing award. In the foyer of the Sloval National Theatre, the atmopsphere of the evening was in hands of band Ukitas. Last but not least, we would like to add an excerpt from a quote: „The greatest achievements come from determination and hard work.“ We highly believe this in Hurricane.
