Forbes - Top Covers ´24

The Forbes TOP Covers 2024 gala evening took place at the Winter Riding Hall of Bratislava Castle, emphasizing support and solidarity. Guests gathered to enjoy an exceptional program and the announcement of the Personality of the Year 2024 award, which went to Mária Jasenková, the founder and director of the children's hospice Plamienok.

Our technical task was to create a clean and spacious stage. Our Hurricane team designed and implemented a solution that combined the aesthetic and functional requirements of the event. The stage was dominated by our LED screen measuring 12 x 4 meters, which was rounded along its entire length. This design gave the space an elegant appearance, highlighting the visual importance of the evening. To visually expand the stage, we incorporated side lighting into the lighting design, coordinating it with the installed lights in the riding hall. We installed two video projectors on the ceiling using reliable D8+ motors, utilizing a masking function that allows us to define the exact projection area, projecting the Forbes logo only onto the side blinds. This way, we did not interfere with the walls that had hanging technology, which would have been undesirable otherwise. This detail contributed to the exclusivity of the evening and its unified branding. We secured the audio aspect of the event using a Meyer Sound system, known for its discreet placement options at optimal angles. Thanks to this system, we evenly covered the hall without compromising the visual aesthetics of the stage.

An unforgettable artistic experience was provided by singer Jana Kirschner, violinist Mathia, the dance group CreDance, and others. The evening also included an auction of artworks and unique experiences, co-hosted by Adela Banášová. The proceeds from the auction were distributed to four Slovak non-profit organizations. We were pleased to accept the challenge of being the technical partner of the gala evening, and we are delighted with the success of this prestigious annual event.
