EKG SOLO 2023 - Wakelake

Outdoor dance parties are definitely part of the summer and at Hurricane we enjoy them too. The great DJ EKG closed this summer again with his 12-hour set called EKG SOLO. Wakelake at Golden Sands was transformed into a dancing cauldron full of electronic music enthusiasts. We created a light park with a portfolio of over 50 pieces of Robe brand light heads. (There were almost 90 lights in total). The central scenic element, and our design, was a rectangular LED screen ceiling. This towered directly above the DJ. The quality and dynamics of the sound was spread through a Meyer Sound sound system. The main sound consisted of Leopard speakers. These were complemented by the LFC-1100 and LFC-900 sub-bass boxes. We also used UPQ full-range loudspeakers for the VIP area sound system. Our heavy duty ground support was installed by technicians for several hours to meet even the most demanding weather conditions. Party goers partied until the wee hours of the morning. Once again, we managed to create an event that resonated in the hearts of these “EKG SOLO enthusiasts”.
