SAPI conference – Hotel Senec

The international SAPI conference was once again held at the Hotel Senec after a year. The two-day event focused on current challenges and solutions in the field of sustainable energy – with an emphasis on the development of renewable sources, industrial decarbonization, and modern energy approaches.

The stage design proposal had two key requirements:
- the stage needed to appear grand and provide a large surface for the display medium
- the stage had to simultaneously accommodate both formal presentations and panel discussions, so that there would be no need to move furniture during the conference

In the design, we chose a curved LED screen Gloshine measuring 18 x 2.5 meters as the foundation, which provided ample space for presentations and engaging videos. The stage was designed with two different height levels to visually separate the presentation and discussion areas. The conference program was filmed using PTZ cameras, ensuring high-quality video transmission to the LED screen, as well as for the online stream. For lighting in the conference hall, we used LED fixtures by ROBE (Esprite models for general white lighting and LEDBeam 150 lights positioned above the LED screen for spatial effects). The entire hall was color-lit with Cameo brand LED bars to match the colors of the content on the LED screen. The sound system was provided by MeyerSound speakers (LFC-900, X40, X20, and MM-4XP), ensuring even coverage and clear sound transmission throughout the space.

For the accompanying program and musical performances, we built a small MILOS 7x5m roof system with a stage in an exclusive black finish in the outdoor area of the hotel. The roof system has a reinforced structure, allowing the sound system and lighting rig to be suspended directly from the roof without the need for additional structures. Along with the design water tanks (used as roof ballast) and a silver tent for the control room, the entire technical setup looks aesthetic and original.
