Concerts under the Pyramid
"Music touches us emotionally where words alone cannot.“ After a long pandemic pause, musicians and audiences finally gathered under the roof of the inverted pyramid. The concert series ‘Concerts Under the Pyramid’ has a 25-year history and remains popular. The Slovak Radio Symphony Orchestra (SOSR) presented a program featuring works not only by foreign composers but also by the successful Slovak composer Mirko Krajči. The concert was conducted by chief conductor Ondrej Lenárd. The soloist of the evening was just 14-year-old violinist Teo Gertler, a laureate of numerous international violin competitions. And we were there to witness it.
We illuminated the concert hall with professional effect lights. The production team requested quiet lights for sound quality. Based on this, we used lights with LED light sources, including powerful Robe Esprite spots. The high output and rich selection of patterns (gobos) from these moving heads were appreciated by the concert's chief cameraman. For colorful illumination of the hall, we used two types of lights from Cameo: the LED Bar 650 Pro for uniform area lighting and the FLAT Pro spotlights to create colorful bands on the walls.
