It is a type of reflector that uses Fresnel lenses to concentrate the light.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"mini-heading-h3 mini-heading-size-half\">Fresnel lens<\/h3>\n<p class=\"translation-block\">The Fresnel lens is named after its inventor, French physicist Augustin-Jean Fresnel. Its distinguishing feature is that it has significantly lower weight compared to conventional lenses with similar parameters and made from the same material (glass, plastic). This is because parts of the lens that do not contribute directly to the bending of light rays have been removed. The lens is composed of many narrow circular rings that gradually decrease in size toward the outer edge.<\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\">Due to their reduced thickness and lower weight, Fresnel reflectors are suitable for use in display applications as well as in lighting and signaling technology, and for harnessing solar energy.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"mini-heading-h3 mini-heading-size-half\">Applications of the Reflector<\/h3>\n<p class=\"translation-block\">Fresnel reflectors have a wide range of applications.
